Macedonian mobile operator ONE, a unit of Telekom Slovenije, launched its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network in the country on 29 August, offering subscribers a bouquet of three tariff plans with prices starting from MKD599 (USD7.77) per month. The details of the packages are: Mobile Net S 4G (10GB data) for MKD599, Mobile Net M 4G (20GB data, MKD999) and Mobile Net L 4G (40GB data, MKD1,599) LTE packages. Users wishing to access the 4G LTE network will require a uSIM card and 4G USB modem to use new service. In August 2013 ONE was awarded a licence by the Agency for Electronic Communications (AEC) for 2×10MHz of spectrum in the 800MHz band and 2×15MHz of 1800MHz spectrum for LTE services.
