Tigo launches DTH

Cableco Tigo Costa Rica, owned by Luxembourg’s Millicom International Cellular (MIC), has launched a direct to home (DTH) satellite TV service, TeleSemana writes citing local news sources. Tigo’s basic DTH package includes 55 channels for CRC9,500 (USD16.46) per month, whilst a boosted offering costs CRC12,500 and features 69 channels, including four in high definition (HD).
