Cellcom calls on Amdocs for CRM software and services update

US-based Amdocs has announced that it has been selected by Israel’s Cellcom to replace the latter’s customer relationship management (CRM) systems with software from Amdocs’ latest CES 9.1 portfolio. With the vendor saying its solutions will consolidate CRM operations across Cellcom’s wireless, wireline, Internet and international-calling lines of business, the operator will reportedly be able to ‘enhance customer experience and better support its growth into new service areas’.

Commenting on the deal, the financial details of which were not disclosed, Jack Oster, vice president of Information Technology at Cellcom Israel, said: ‘By replacing disparate CRM systems with Amdocs software and expanding Amdocs’ managed services to cover CRM operations, we will be able to better support service bundling and offer a higher level of customer care and service across all customer touch points … We will also be able to improve the performance of processes such as new service and price plan introductions, sales, price plans switching and repair services, further improving the customer experience.’
