Orange Luxembourg has announced that it has increased its 2G, 3G and 4G network coverage, via the deployment of eight new base transceiver stations (BTS) in the country. 2G coverage now stands at 99.9%, while the cellco’s 3G signal covers 95% of the Grand Duchy. Meanwhile, Orange’s 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network now serves 74% of Luxembourg. Going forward, the cellco notes that it is targeting 90% LTE coverage by end-2015, but requires certain authorisations to allow it to increase the density of its rollout.
