Vodafone introduces first LTE-A router; offers 300Mbps download speeds via CA

Vodafone Portugal has introduced its inaugural Long Term Evolution-Advanced (LTE-A) device, the B4000 router, which supports download speeds of 300Mbps using carrier aggregation (CA) technology. The router, which is priced at EUR299.99 (USD406.74) – but currently available for an introductory price of EUR149.99 – supports up to 64 users simultaneously and has a range of 300m.

Vodafone has yet to confirm the precise coverage details of its LTE-A network; its standard LTE network currently covers around 90% of the population.
