Telefonica subsidiary Movistar Peru has announced that its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network will be expanded to twelve new areas of the Peruvian capital Lima this month. The network was launched in seven districts of the city in January this year and has since signed up around 70,000 users, TeleSemana reports. Coverage will soon be expanded to the cities of Trujillo, Piura, Chiclayo and Arequipa, Movistar says.
