Zain Bahrain has this week expanded its 4G LTE services into a fully mobile national mobile broadband service for smartphone and tablet users, having previously launched LTE internet access for home/office routers a year ago. Starting from 30 April 2014 LTE-capable smartphone and tablet owners can try LTE mobile high speed data services for no additional cost for three months from the date of subscription, reports Gulf Daily News. The offer is available for new and existing customers, both pre- and post-paid. Post-paid LTE subscribers will also get a free additional 2GB monthly threshold on top of their current data package threshold. Following a major network modernisation, other recent enhancements offered to Zain Bahrain mobile users include HD voice technology, alongside wider and stronger network coverage.
