Zimbabwean cellco Telecel, the country’s second largest mobile operator by subscribers, is reportedly planning to re-brand its pre-paid services to ‘Telecel Go’, local news source TechZim reports. According to the article, Telecel Go was scheduled to launch a week ago, although the introduction was reportedly postponed as telecoms watchdog POTRAZ has yet to approve Telecel Go’s permanent reduced tariff proposals. Telecel’s pre-paid services were previously offered under the ‘Mango’ brand, but the moniker was subsequently scrapped.
