‘Teaser’ documents on the upcoming privatisation of Slovenian incumbent Telekom Slovenije are expected to be sent out by mid-April. A sale notice had been expected to be issued to prospective bidders by the end of March but sources cited by TMT Finance said that court proceedings and ‘other complications’ had elongated the process, which is being organised by Citigroup. In a report from Slovenian newspaper Finance.si earlier this week, Zoran Janko, a member of Telekom Slovenije’s management board, indicated that ‘notice of sale or the so-called teaser’ would be available within around two weeks. The Slovenian government is looking to raise a ballpark figure of EUR700 million (USD957 million) from selling its majority stake in the fixed line, broadband and mobile operator, with prospective buyers said to include Deutsche Telekom and Telenor, alongside Axos Capital, Apax Partners, Cinven, Advent International, Providence Equity Partners, CVC Capital Partners, Columbia Capital, TPG and Bain Capital.
