Slovenia’s Agency for Electronic Communications Networks & Services (AKOS) has confirmed on its website that it will start the public auction for mobile frequency licences in the 800MHz, 900MHz, 1800MHz, 2100MHz and 2600MHz bands on 3 April 2014. The regulator previously announced that three companies placed initial bids by the deadline of 17 February. TeleGeography notes that Slovenia has four incumbent mobile network operators, Telekom Slovenije (Mobitel), Si.Mobil, Tusmobil and T-2.
