RACSA snaps up MVNO

State-backed internet service provider (ISP) Radiografica Costarricense (RACSA) has purchased mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) Full Movil for an undisclosed sum, after the deal received approval from sector regulator Superintendencia de Telecomunicaciones (Sutel). Full Movil currently offers pre-paid SIM-only services over the network of wireless provider Kolbi, the mobile brand of RACSA’s parent company Grupo Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (Grupo ICE).
