TeleResources offloads minor Zon Optimus stake

TeleResources, the Dutch holding company affiliated to Espirito Santo Irmaos, has confirmed that it has disposed of its 3% stake in Portuguese telco Zon Optimus, equivalent to around 15.455 million shares. The announcement has been made in line with the Portuguese Securities Code, while the buyer of the shares has not been disclosed.

According to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database, holding company Zopt, which is co-owned by Kento Holding, Unitel International and Sonaecom, holds a 50.01% controlling stake in Zon Optimus, while Sonaecom has a separate 7.28% stake in the company. No other entity currently holds a greater than 5% stake in the company.
