Vodafone launches VDSL in NZ

According to local press reports, Vodafone New Zealand has introduced VDSL connectivity to around 60% of homes. Although precise transmission speeds have not been confirmed, Vodafone is offering an 80GB data allowance for NZD85 (USD70.5) per month. The telco had previously suggested that the access type is capable of delivering speeds of around 15Mbps-70Mbps (downlink) and 5Mbp-10Mbps (uplink).
