ZTE rolls out VoLTE for China Mobile

ZTE has deployed voice over Long Term Evolution (VoLTE) technology on China Mobile’s Time Division (TD)-LTE network in Guangzhou, the Chinese vendor announced in a press release. The VoLTE solution supports enhanced Single Radio Voice Call Continuity (eSRVCC) switching for seamless handovers to non-4G networks, a feature demonstrated by the cellco in trials which saw voice calls handed off to third-party 2G networks.
