Nicaragua ends 2013 with 6.81m mobile lines, 207,275 broadband subs

Nicaragua’s Instituto Nicaraguense de Telecomunicaciones y Correos (Telcor) has confirmed that the country ended 2013 with 6.809 million mobile lines in service, of which 6.344 million were pre-paid subscriptions. Meanwhile, the number of broadband subscriptions in the country increased from 175,634 to 207,275 year-on-year. Finally, the number of wirelines reached 324,917, up from 299,917 in 2012.
