Rostelecom deploys fibre in remote village of Sharomy

Russian national operator Rostelecom has confirmed that it has extended its fibre-optic network to the remote area of Sharomy, in the Kamchatka region, giving residents access to broadband, IPTV and VoIP services. The company notes that services are also available in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy, Vilyuchinsk, Milkovo and other locations in the region.
