VIP spends EUR10m on network upgrades

Serbian wireless provider VIP Mobile has upgraded its network equipment in all cities of the Vojvodina region, Telecompaper writes, citing local news reports. The Austrian-backed cellco has invested more than EUR10 million (USD13.59 million) on network upgrades this year, including the deployment of 2G and 3G coverage to 100 new locations across 14 cities.
