Alltele acquires Boxer DSL, VoIP customers

Swedish altnet Alltele has made the latest in a string of acquisitions with the transfer of broadband/VoIP telephony customers from smaller rival Boxer. The deal gains Alltele 9,500 ADSL broadband customers, of which 3,900 also take VoIP services, effective from 15 December 2013. Boxer’s broadband/VoIP operation represent annual turnover of SEK24 million (USD3.65 million). The purchase will not affect customers as no tariff or other service changes will occur, according to a release.
