Mobile network operator T-Mobile Netherlands has officially launched 4G services in the four biggest cities across the country – Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht and The Hague. Going forward, T-Mobile customers with a 4G device and data plan will be able to access the faster services at no extra cost, it said. At launch, the new network covers around 100,000 customers; it aims to reach 80% of its customers with LTE by the end of 2014. Earlier this month CommsUpdate reported that T-Mobile NL was already offering 4G ahead of the official launch on 18 November. From 4 November the cellco’s subscribers could already benefit from faster mobile internet access through the cellco’s 4G LTE network.
