Claro’s 4G network reaches nine more cities

Claro Puerto Rico has announced the expansion of its 4G LTE mobile network to nine additional cities and towns, offering mobile data speeds of up to 50Mbps in Aguada, Anasco, Arecibo, Barceloneta, Fajardo, Humacao, Juncos, Manati and San Lorenzo. The expansion added to LTE coverage already spanning cities including San Juan, Ponce, Mayaguez, Caguas and surrounding municipalities. Investment in its networks since 2007 reached USD1.425 billion, Claro added in the press release on its website. The cellco, part of the America Movil group, recently added the Nokia Lumia 625 handset to its 4G-capable device range which includes the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Motorola Moto X, HTC One, Sony ZL and the latest iPhone models.
