TOT, Samart to redraw MVNO contract

14 Oct 2013

Thai state-owned telco TOT has delayed signing a new contract with Samart I-Mobile, the largest MVNO operating over its 3G mobile network, after the Office of the Auditor-General advised that the terms were disadvantageous. The Bangkok Post reports that TOT and Samart were due to sign a new longer-term deal with I-Mobile to replace the existing renewable one-year contract under a proposed 46:54 revenue-sharing model, but the details will now be re-examined under the requirements of the state financial auditor.
