3G tariffs approved for GP, Robi, Banglalink

3G mobile tariff plans submitted for approval by GrameenPhone (GP), Banglalink and Robi Axiata have now been given the green-light for commercial launch by the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), sources have told the Financial Express. The report added that Airtel Bangladesh, the fourth private sector operator to receive a 3G licence last month, is yet to get its 3G tariffs approved for launch. The newspaper published details of the proposed data packages of Banglalink and Robi, with available download speeds given as between 512kbps and 4Mbps.
