Swedish cableco Com Hem has announced further details of its TiVo-based ‘TV anywhere’ packages that will be launched on 7 October, with subscriptions priced between SEK145 (USD22.58) and SEK439, including a newly developed set-top box and the TiVoToGo service making content available across TVs, computers, mobile phones and tablets, Broadband TV News reports. Initially, on-demand services from providers including Cirkus, CMore Play and Viasat Film will be included, with around 12,000 titles available, alongside a revamped linear TV channel line-up, while from December the popular Netflix content streaming service will be added to the package. Initially TiVoToGo will be available for iOS devices with Android support to be added ‘in the autumn’. 45,000 customers have reportedly registered their interest in Com Hem’s new TiVo-based services since May, and earlier this month Com Hem scaled down marketing of its existing digital TV packages by stopping online sales.
