Etisalat’s cellular operator subsidiary in Togo, Atlantique Telecom (which trades as Moov), has launched a mobile commerce offering dubbed ‘Flous’. With Flous, customers can pay for bills, goods and services; transfer money with friends and family; withdraw and deposit cash; top up mobile phones; and manage bank accounts. The service is offered in partnership with Banque Atlantique, Khaleej Times reports. Moov is currently the largest of Togo’s two cellular operators, according to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database, claiming 1.65 million subscribers and a 52.1% share of the overall market at the end of June 2013.
