Two Turkish firms have expressed an interest in the privatisation of Telekom Srbija, local news portal inSerbia writes citing officials of the two companies. Rasim Ljajic, the minister for foreign and internal trade and telecommunications and one of Serbia’s deputy PMs, had met with the heads of Dogus Holding and the Sabanci Group in Istanbul to discuss the potential expansion of the pair’s business in Serbia. In separate talks, Ferit Sahenk of Dogus Holding and Cagatay Ozdrogu of Sabanci showed interest in investing in the nation’s telecoms market, as well as the energy and road infrastructure sectors.
