Jasmine International’s revenues up 12%

Thai telecoms group Jasmine International has released its financial report for the second quarter of 2013 to the Bangkok stock exchange, recording that total revenue reached THB2.734 billion (USD87.1 million) in the three-month period, up by 12.0% compared to THB2.440 billion in 2Q12. 86% of the total revenue was contributed by triple-play broadband, IPTV and VoIP operator Triple T Broadband (including its ISP unit Triple T Internet), which generated turnover of THB2.351 billion in April-June 2013, up by 21.5% from THB1.935 billion in the corresponding quarter of 2012. Jasmine’s consolidated operating profit in Q2 2013 grew by 38.2% year-on-year to THB800 million, compared to THB579 million in 2Q12. Jasmine added that continuous growth of subscribers and revenues at Triple T resulted in economies of scale, driving EBITDA margin up by five percentage points year-on-year to 56% in the second quarter.
