Main One expands connectivity services to south west

16 Jul 2013

West African cable company Main One has expanded its enterprise and connectivity solutions to the south of Nigeria, local newspaper Punch reports. At a business connectivity event in Ibadan, Main One unveiled its broadband solutions to educational institutions, government agencies and businesses in Oyo State. It said that it would now be able to offer enterprise customers in the region the ability to deploy, manage and automate network and compute resources in Nigeria remotely from any location. Main One added that its expansion into the region was driven by the growing demand for reliable connectivity solutions and virtual private networks (VPNs) between organisational branches, as well as increased security challenges faced by businesses and institutions in the south west region of the country.
