Ukrtelecom forms OTT tie-up with oll.tv

Ukrainian incumbent Ukrtelecom has launched a new web-based video service in partnership with locally-based streaming content provider oll.tv, under the ‘OGO! Cinema’ banner, available to all of the telco’s 1.6 million fixed broadband internet subscribers via website ogokino.oll.tv. The new service offers thousands of films, TV series and live broadcasts, and is being offered at an introductory price of UAH1 (USD0.12) for the first month as a promotion; standard price is UAH30 per month.

oll.tv is a web-based video service provider launched on the Ukrainian market in May 2012, offering licensed movies, TV series and one-off TV shows/live broadcasts. As of January 2013 it recorded a monthly web viewing audience of more than 900,000 unique users. oll.tv is accessible on PCs/laptops, Smart TVs supplied by LG, Samsung and Panasonic, via media players Dune HD and Aura HD, as well as on mobile devices – tablets and smartphones running iOS and Android operating systems. The company is part of the Media Group Ukraine holding.
