Mobile operators in Thailand have confirmed that they are complying with a price cut in their 3G tariff plans by 15%-20% as stipulated by the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), the Bangkok Post reports. The tariff cut is a condition stipulated by the NBTC before AIS, True Corp and DTAC can launch their commercial 2100MHz 3G (and 4G in True’s case) networks, beginning with AIS’s scheduled full launch next Wednesday, with DTAC expected to launch the following day.
