OpenUniverse inks deals with two more providers

24 Apr 2013

Norwegian-backed telco Telenor has announced that its Swedish fibre network arm, OpenUniverse, has signed nationwide service agreements with Alltele and Bredbandsbolaget, allowing the pair to offer services over OpenUniverse’s 37 metropolitan networks. The two operators join cableco Com Hem which signed a similar agreement with OpenUniverse last week. Commenting on the tie-up, Stefan Hage, a spokesperson for Alltele said: ‘It is clear that OpenUniverse has strived to create the market-based and transparent conditions that are the basis of its open network model, making them an attractive partner for us as a service provider. We look forward to the launch of services in OpenUniverse and see a huge growth opportunity for Alltele.’
