PTCL tests 100Mbps broadband

Pakistan Telecommunications Company Ltd (PTCL) has begun trials offering download speeds of up to 100Mbps over its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network in parts of Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi, Pro Pakistani reports. The top-tier FTTH packages cost PKR13,499 (USD136.72), PKR15,999 and PKR25,999 per month for connection speeds of 20Mbps, 50Mbps and 100Mbps respectively. All of the FTTH tariffs include free ‘smart TV’ services and unlimited on-net calls.
