Cableco increases broadband speeds five-fold

Cable Bahamas has announced an increase of ‘more than 500%’ to end-user broadband speeds with no alteration to current pricing. The cableco’s REVON customers currently signed up for a 3Mbps connection will be upgraded to 15Mbps, 6Mbps users will be boosted to 30Mbps and 9Mbps customers will see their connection speed increased to 50Mbps. In addition, Cable Bahamas will launch a new 70Mbps offering, dubbed REVON Extreme. The upgrade will be activated on New Providence and Grand Bahama on 22 April before going live on Abaco and Eleuthera on 20 May.
