North Rock Communications to offer Bonded Internet to customers

10 Apr 2013

Bermudian telecommunications provider North Rock Communications has entered into a partnership agreement with Vancouver’s Multapplied Networks to supply the latter’s Bonded Internet services to its customer base. The vendor’s Bonded Internet technology allows companies to ‘mix and match’ providers and access technologies, it said, providing an improved service to business users needing ‘faster, more reliable networks with quality of service for voice and video-conferencing’.

Multapplied Networks claimed that its proprietary technology allows end users to combine internet connections of differing types and speeds, to create a unified, high speed, reliable access connection for their various operational sites. North Rock Communications, which launched in 1997 as a dial-up internet services provider (ISP), has since evolved into a broadband and value added services (VAS) provider. It boasts multiple points of presence (PoP) in Bermuda and provides a full range of internet, wireless, long-distance and local voice products and services to both business and residential customers.
