CAT signs cloud deal with IBM

Thailand’s CAT Telecom has signed a strategic partnership agreement with IBM to help the government-owned telco provide cloud computing services. IBM will be the preferred technology service provider to help manage cloud systems and deliver cloud computing services for CAT. The IBM SmartCloud infrastructure will be used to offer cloud services to both private and government enterprises. IBM will also provide cloud infrastructure management services to CAT for the next four years.
