Orange to increase line rental across overseas territories from June

According to Dom-Tom ADSL, a website focusing on telecoms activities in the French overseas territories, France Telecom-Orange’s regional subsidiaries in the French West Indies region and Reunion and Mayotte in the Indian Ocean will increase their line rental charges by around EUR1 (USD1.3) from 4 June 2013. The fee, which has reportedly remained unchanged since 2007 will rise from EUR14.52 per month to EUR15.33 in Guadeloupe, Martinique and Reunion, and increase from EUR12.60 to EUR13.35 in French Guiana, St Martin, St Barthelemy and Mayotte.
