Digicel Bermuda launches new pre-paid plan

15 Mar 2013

Mobile operator Digicel Bermuda has launched a new offer for its pay-as-you-go customers, dubbed the ‘Digicel Prepaid Daily Plan’. The new plan offers users a voice call, SMS and data package costing BMD3.50 (USD3.50) per day. Described as a self-service product, customers can add the Digicel Prepaid Daily Plan to their smartphones by dialling a prefix code from their BlackBerry, iPhone or Android phone. The plan includes unlimited local calling, unlimited local text messages and 10MB of data downloads. Further, the new plan is designed to automatically renew 24 hours from activation as long as sufficient credit is available. Subscribers will receive automated notices upon consumption of 70% and 100% of the 10MB of data included in the plan, it adds.

‘The inclusion of data makes this plan unique to any other pre-paid offering in Bermuda and allows Digicel Prepaid customers to do more than talk and text. We strongly believe that our customers will appreciate this opportunity to get it all for one low price of BMD3.50 a day,’ said Digicel Bermuda CEO, Wayne Caines.
