Ukrtelecom alters tariffs

Ukrainian full-service telco Ukrtelecom has altered call rates for long-distance services and calls to mobile networks, effective 21 January 2013, including a 72% increase in fixed-to-mobile rates for calls to its own mobile network, from UAH0.25 (USD0.03) per minute to UAH0.43 (including VAT). Local news site ProIT adds that the company is simultaneously reducing rates for fixed-to-fixed long-distance calls to its network on Monday-Friday by 10%, from UAH0.48 to UAH0.43.
