Robi and Teletalk agree to share infrastructure

Bangladeshi cellco Robi Axiata has signed an infrastructure sharing agreement with state-owned rival Teletalk, aimed at cutting costs. TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database notes that Malaysian-backed Robi has previously entered into a series of bilateral network sharing deals with Airtel Bangladesh, GrameenPhone, Qubee, Fiber@Home, Summit and Ranks Telecom (RanksTel).
