13 Dec 2012

From 18 December 2012 Telia, part of the TeliaSonera group, will offer its Swedish mobile subscribers its ‘Telia Play+’ multi-screen TV and movie-on-demand service on smartphones and tablets as well as on TV sets and computers. Telia Play+ can be purchased as a supplement to the IPTV-based Telia Digital TV or as a standalone service, offering over 30 TV channels, a video store initially with over 2,500 movies and a software library with over 20 additional services. The mobile service is being launched on devices running the Apple operating system IOS, including the iPhone and iPad, but in January 2013 it will also be made available for Android-based devices.
