Robi and RanksTel partner for network sharing

Bangladesh’s third largest cellco by active subscribers, Robi Axiata, has signed a bilateral infrastructure sharing agreement with CDMA fixed-wireless and broadband network operator Ranks Telecom (RanksTel). TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database notes that Malaysian-backed Robi has entered into a series of bilateral network sharing deals with Airtel Bangladesh, GrameenPhone, Qubee, Fiber@Home and Summit.
