Jasmine near-doubles profits on 12% sales hike

Thai communications group Jasmine International has reported that its total revenue for the third quarter of 2012 climbed to THB2.656 billion (USD86 million), up 12.2% from THB2.367 billion in the corresponding period of 2011. The largest slice of revenue was contributed by nationwide broadband network operator Triple T Broadband (3BB) and its ISP subsidiary Triple T Internet, while significant contributions came from JasTel Network Company, Jasmine Telecom Systems and the group’s other ISP, Jasmine Internet Company. The net profit of the group in 3Q12 reached THB616 million, nearly double the THB312 million reported one year earlier, and up from THB472 million in 2Q12.
