All Beeline frequencies now transferred to Kyivstar

19 Oct 2012

Ukraine’s telecoms regulator, the National Commission for the State Regulation of Communications and Informatization (NCCIR, or locally abbreviated to NKRZI), has approved an application for the transfer of the last remaining wireless frequency bands held by Vimpelcom subsidiary Beeline Ukraine/Ukrainian Radio Systems (URS) to sister company Kyivstar. Beeline/URS, following a previous merger with Golden Telecom (Ukraine), is in the final stages of integration into Kyivstar – the country’s largest cellco – in the mobile, fixed and broadband segments.
