Mason gets another chance to stonewall Telus restructuring

Mason Capital Management, the largest individual shareholder in Canadian telecoms group Telus Corp, has been granted permission for an expedited appeal of a court judgement blocking it from calling a shareholder meeting. Mason, with over 19% of Telus voting shares, has attempted to oppose Telus’ plan to consolidate its voting and non-voting stock on a one-for-one basis.
