NCC seeks to criminalise vandalism of telecoms infrastructure

7 Sep 2012

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) is looking to make the vandalism of telecoms infrastructure a criminal offence, reports Leadership Nigeria. The announcement comes in the wake of the attack of around 25 base transceiver stations (BTS) in the north of the country, which left a large number of mobile subscribers in the area without service.
