Jordan Telecom profits slip in 1H 2012

Jordan Telecom Group has posted net profits of JOD41.1 million (USD57.88 million) for the first six months of 2012, down slightly from JOD41.3 million reported in the corresponding period of 2011. Xinhua news reports that the group, which is 51% owned by France Telecom-Orange, saw total revenues drop by 1.1% year-on-year to JOD199.8 million.
