TDP spends PEN672m in 1H2012

Telefonica del Peru (TDP), the Andean nation’s largest operator by subscribers, has invested PEN672 million (USD248.63 million) in H1 2012, up 13% from the previous year reports La Republica, citing the company’s CEO Cesar Linares. Over the period the telco focused on increasing the number of internet accesses, Linares said, adding that the provider was expanding into increasingly remote areas, with low population density.
