ANRT starts search for 4G auction adviser

18 Jul 2012

Morocco’s National Telecommunications Regulatory Agency (ANRT) has begun preparing for 4G licensing by launching a tender to select an adviser for the process. The watchdog has set a deadline of 23 August for the submission of bids. The winner will assist ANRT with the setting of terms and conditions, including deciding on how many concessions are to be made available. As previously reported by CommsUpdate, the regulator plans to award 4G licences at the start of 2013 with commercial launches following by the end of that year at the latest.
