Elisa books 2.9% revenue increase

Finnish telco Elisa Corporation has reported revenues of EUR389 million (USD475.1 million) for the three months ended 30 June 2012, an increase of 2.9% year-on-year, boosted by handset sales and mobile voice and data services. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) for Q2 2012 stood at EUR122 million, up slightly from EUR121 million recorded a year earlier. Pre-tax profits for the period under review, meanwhile, stood at EUR66 million and CAPEX was EUR51 million, down from EUR54 million twelve months ago.
