Belgrade to issue free shares in Telekom Srbija

The Serbian government has finalised its decision on the free distribution of shares of Telekom Srbija. According to Balkans Business News, Belgrade has determined a market value of EUR2.27 billion (USD2.988 billion) for the total one billion shares in Telekom and will issue 6.94% of the shares to employees and former employees, whilst a further 15% will be distributed to the public. The Serbian government has tasked Telekom Srbija to carry out all necessary activities to facilitate the distribution of shares and trade them on the market.
