T-Mobile Czech Republic has announced that efforts to improve its 3G mobile network coverage and quality are continuing apace and that as a result, its UMTS-FDD network now covers more than 83% of the population via 2,550 transmitters serving over 560 cities. The cellco is also improving the end user’s experience, it said, by enabling them free access to its NetworkRadar applications, which allows them to verify the quality of internet access being received. The app is being offered in collaboration with the Dutch company Oberon Interactive.
